지금 듣는 노래는 "Both side now"
그 옛날 이상한 넘(바로 나)가 있었고 세상을 좀 다르게(별나게, 왜곡되게?) 보고 있었다. 양극화가 심하여 가장 잘나고 똑똑하다 생각했지만 가장 어렵고 힘들다고 생각했다. 감수성이 많은 것을 지나쳐 여리고(Fragile) 맘이 다치기 심했다(삐치기 쉽다는 말, 혼자 괴로워한다는 말). 많은 주옥 같은 가사의 팝송을 들었는데 여기 어디선가도 썾는데 꿈을 꾸는 환상과 과거의 회상(과거는 아름답다 좀 슬프지만)과 회환(후회, regret)과 속으로 숨으드는 불행감을 커므프라치하는 행복감을 온 몸을 휩싼다.
이런 기분, Feeling 때문에 세상을 살아간다고 말 한적도 많았다. 이런 기분의 징검다리를 디디면 인생을 지나간다고,,,
그 가사도 꿈군느 듯한 말이다. Ryme(운)을 맞춘 단어도 좋도 구름과 사랑도 인생도 양면성이 있다(여기도 양극화). Moon and June and Ferris wheel...
Judy Collins 노래 40년이 지난 지금에야 한 단어 한 줄 주의 깊게 다시 맘에 새겨본다.
갸냐린 고음의 피아도 반주와 낮고 작은 드럼 소리가 아주 단순하여(화려하지 않아) 곱고 여린 노래 소리를 받친다.

"Both Sides, Now" is a single by Joni Mitchell. Her recording first appeared on the album Clouds, released in 1969. She re-recorded the song in a jazz style for the album of the same name, released in 2000.
I was reading Saul Bellow's "Henderson the Rain King" on a plane and early in the book Henderson the Rain King is also up in a plane. He's on his way to Africa and he looks down and sees these clouds. I put down the book, looked out the window and saw clouds too, and I immediately started writing the song. I had no idea that the song would become as popular as it did.
Judy Collins made the first commercially released recording of the song in 1968, shortly after Mitchell wrote it, which reached #8 on the U.S. pop singles charts and won a 1968 Grammy Award for Best Folk Performance. The record peaked at #3 on Billboard's Easy Listening survey, and has become one of Collins' signature songs.
